Pokemon 25th Anniversary - Pokemon Unite a No-Show
Pokemon's 25th Anniversary was celebrated on their official YouTube channel today. While a lot of exciting new Pokemon games were announced and detailed, Pokemon Unite was not among them.
We suspect that the Canadian beta test is the reason for the radio silence. Nintendo and the Pokemon Company have been historically silent about anything they're not ready to show. Also, like the Mario 35th anniversary and now the Zelda 35th, they've been known to spread news and hype out over several months.
Further rumors of the beta starting on today, Pokemon Day, appear to have been unfounded. All of Nintendo's communications still vaguely reference March as the beginning of the beta period.
