Why do people think Pokemon Unite is bad?
They're simply wrong. I admit I scoffed at the idea when I first saw it announced, too. I've been playing MOBA games for years, and to see what looked like a watered-down experience on a cell phone was a hard sell. Now that I've actually tried it, I get it. Like, all-in. It's a very fun, fast, and strategy-rich take on the genre while doing its own thing. I'm even begrudingly good at the touch screen controls now - though truthfully I'll be playing this on Switch instead once it's out.
There's a stigma about mobile games. They are way too often cheap cash-grabs that show you an ad every 20 seconds. Pokemon Unite is NOT THAT. There are no ads, the graphics are excellent, the performance is great (once you're in a match), and the monetization model is closer to League of Legends than anything else.
