Dash. True Dmg.
Pursuit
Dash. Damage. Then: Attack up (from behind). CDR. (+)Movement Speed up.
Psycho Cut
Damage. Slow. Attack up. (+)Movement Speed up near opponents.
Midnight SlashUNITE
Damage. Displacement.
Razor Claw
After using a move, the Pokémon's next basic attack deals more damage. If held by a melee Pokémon, the basic attack also slows opposing Pokémon.
Scope Lens
Boosts critical hit damage.
Focus Band
When HP is low, gradually recovers HP.
X Attack
Temporarily increases your Attack, Sp. Attack, and Basic Attack Speed.

Starting off with Feint can make you go through the big wall and damage the starting pokemon there.

I personally like Pursuit because of the damage it deals, plus with a bit of a speed boost.

I chose Psycho Cut from the amount of damage you can deal with it aswell as the slowness, it's a good combo for me.

Midnight Slash I really only use to either steal or try to chip away the opposing teams health, I especially use it against large groups.

1. Razor Claws add-on ability makes it so melee pokemon can slow the enemy when hit, and since Absol is a melee like pokemon (it will get the additional ability.)

2. Scope Lens boosts the crit damage, and it just so seems that Absol can occasionally deal crit damage. So..

3. Focus Band is also another way of healing (If you don't have a Blissey on your team.) You can also use Leftovers if you are a beginner and don't have the item.

X Attack will raise Absols Atk. and Atk. Speed for a short time when used, I mainly use it for big fights when necessary.

Works Well With
Since Absol is a glass-cannon like pokemon, they would need some type of healing source, Blissey has good healing moves and the move called "Helping Hand", which makes the surrounding ally pokemon have full crits for a couple of seconds, which is a big damage dealer.
It's Lucario, cmon. (But also because it's a pretty bulky pokemon with the right held items.)
Trevenant is pretty tanky, plus with a bunch of good attacks makes them a pretty good candidate.
This build was created in the game version of 1.8.1.5. It may contain inaccuracies in the data that is used compared to the current version of 1.12.1.5.
