Increases the damage of moves. More Sp. Atk results in more damage.

Instantly teleport yourself somewhere nearby.

Probably not the best build for gengar but still is strong
Reminder for this build to work: ALWAYS USE SLUGE BOMB FIRST
After using sludge bomb hex will have a big cool down reduction do to the target being poisoned allowing you to use constant hex’s choice specs will increase the damage you deal thanks to gengars high special attack, shell bell will heal you from special attack stat, energy amplifier will boost your damage after you use phantom ambush.
Other amazing held items that would work just as well
Buddy barrier: gives you and lowest health teammate a shield.
Wise glasses: increases special attack, so basically more shell bell heals and choice specs damage. (probably better item than energy amplifier)
Focus band: helps you when you take damage.
Muscle band: higher h.p pokemon take more damage.
Weakness policy:taking damage will add damage to your next attack.
Rapid fire scarf: increases basic attack speed by a bit.
