ok so i suck at using defenders, i'm more of a damage dealer. every defender i try out really never works out for me except mamoswine. this thicc sinnoh ice pig IS SOOOO GOOD, probably one of the best defenders in solo q rn
weakness policy is very good on mamoswine, can become a funny damage dealing tank
the other two items can be anything, some good ones:
- attack weight (stacking)
- aeos cookie (double stacking)
- razor claw (F R E E Z E)
- muscle band (F R E E Z E S O M E M O R E)
- rapid-fire scarf (T H E I C E A G E I S B A C K)
- buddy barrier (unite move sucks)
- exp share (your lane partner will love you)
- float stone (some mobility and extra attack is nice)
- and score shield (only if you are double stacking)
a lot of battle items work great on mamoswine, x speed or eject button for mobility, potion for healing, x attack for funni damage, full heal cuz zacian
if ur stacking then stack at much as you can early game by securing farm with ice shard and tackle for mobility, while also defending your lane partner if they are stacking too
if u ain't stacking then defend your goal zone, give xp to your lane partner and get them 8:50 birds
use the ice types moves a lot on your goals when defending so that enemy scoring speed can be slowed (thanks to mamo's ability thick fat)
combo with icicle crash and tackle/high horsepower for more cc and to cover the ground in ice, which increases ally movement speed
mammoth mash has extremely low range and meh damage, so use it to be tanky and unstoppable, with the last stomp stunning
a good tank boost emblem loadout for mamoswine is 4 brown, 6 white, 2 blue and 2 purple, with as much hp as possible
ice pig feels great rn, screw stupid sword dog with flower
Works Well With
the legendary freeze lane
alolan ninetales is the best lane partner for mamoswine, constant damage and freezing
venusaur is pretty decent too
buzzwole can benefit from exp share mamo
