Guide
INTRO --
Eldegoss fell of around season 6, but has recently been seen floating around Thiea Sky Ruins in a big comeback attempt. I'm so here for it! I'm in the global top 5K Eldegoss players and have been playing with it as my main since Day 1, and this is my recommended build for using Elde in Sky Ruins.
If this build helped you, please don't forget to give it a like so others can also benefit!
BUILD OVERVIEW --
This is a score-reliant build, meaning that unlike the Eldegoss of Remoat Stadium, you will need to get your stacks in as early as you can or else your Eldegoss will struggle to keep up. I recommend at least 4 stacks (even if they are small) as you'll benefit from them greatly once you get your power spike at level 10.
ALTERNATE HELD ITEMS --
If you're dying often, swap Choice Specs for Aeos Cookie, get those stacks in early, and kite!
LANING PHASE --
I prefer to run this Pokemon on Top Lane because the lane has more opportunities to stack using the 1XP farm before you reach level 4.
If you're going Bottom Lane, be sure to snipe a few KOs with Leafage to dunk once you hit level 4 and gain Leaf Tornado.
Regardless of lane, use Leaf Tornado to help your team dive enemy goals. Cotton Spore will give you a speed boost as well as a defense boost when upgraded, so use it often to get around when Leaf Tornado is on cooldown.
Leaf Tornado+ can effect Regieleki, so use it to help it get to the enemy goal faster or hinder it coming to yours.
Whenever you are going to fight more than 1 enemy, put on X-Atk to stay in the fight!
WHEN TO USE UNITE MOVE --
After Buddy Barrier was rendered practically obsolete, you'll need to aim to ensure your Eldegoss lands directly on teammates in need of HP. With the reduced Unite Move effects your team won't receive as many heals, BUT your cooldown is significantly reduced. This coupled with the emblems ensures that you can get your team mobile with a near infinite Leaf Tornado while healing yourself, dealing damage, and displacing foes with Cotton Spore.
If you're playing well, you should be able to use Eldegoss' Unite Move at least 3 times per match. If you find yourself struggling to keep up, use your unite to displace enemies quickly and help your team retreat to safety.
EMBLEMS --
Don't worry too much about which emblems you have/don't have. Instead focus on the stacked benefits of your emblem colors. The colors you want are:
- Black
- Green
- Purple
This will help you with Cooldown Reduction, increased Special Attack, and improved Special Defense. If you have emblems with dual colors purple/black or green/black you can easily achieve full stacked benefits on several colors at once. But again, what you have doesn't matter as much as the color combos. That being said, don't nerf your own Sp.Atk trying to get Cooldown Reduction lol
My current emblems are -
Gold
-Gengar
Silver
- Zubat
- Golbat
- Vennomoth
- Grimer
- Ivysaur
- Alakazam
Bronze
- Beedrill
- Vileplume
- Mewtwo
