Machamp is a great All-Rounder that can deal insane amounts of damage to multiple Pokémon at once and also take a decent amount of damage.
While you’re a Machop you don’t have many powerful moves so try to quickly farm exp until you’re level 5 that way you get access to Dynamic Punch early! Machamp is great for Central Area but since you’re gonna be trying to score a lot of goals early it’s more preferable to go Bottom Lane instead!
Sneaking goals is pretty easy as a Machop or Machoke with Bulk Up or Dynamic Punch since both give you a movement speed boost, try to sneak as many as you can early on that way you start to deal insane amounts of damage early into the match! Weakness Policy is great for this build since you’re gonna be initiating fights and taking multiple hits as well since you’re a melee Pokémon, try to kill as many opposing Pokémon as possible before they manage to kill you! Close Combat deals great damage in an area and Dynamic Punch is a great initiation move too, don’t be afraid to initiate battles with Barrage Blow either as you’ll be able to deal insane damage immediately!
Other Possible Held Items:
Razor Claw:
Machamp’s moves like Bulk Up and Dynamic Punch all boost its next basic attack, Razor Claw increases the damage that boosted attack would deal and also slows targets which would help keep them from escaping!
Buddy Barrier:
Buddy Barrier gives you a great shield, allowing you to take more hits once you activate Barrage Blow which could be essential in some situations.
Muscle Band:
Muscle Band increases the damage basic attacks do and also increases your basic attack speed, this could be great but since Attack Weight boosts your overall Attack damage I prefer using that instead.
Other Possible Battle Items:
X Speed:
X Speed gives a similar effect to Eject Button and could help you catch up to targets with low HP and kill them!
X Attack:
X Attack not only increases your Attack but also your attack speed, this is great since Machamp’s basic attacks already deal pretty good damage. X Attack is more preferable for a build centered around Machamp’s basic attacks though.
Works Well With
Freezing targets is great since it keeps them from running away from your Close Combat attack or Barrage Blow! While Mamoswine also freezes targets, it’s moves like High Horsepower make it harder to land your moves because of how far the targets get pushed away.
Mr. Mime’s barriers can help keep your targets from escaping!
Telekinesis/Slowbeam locks targets in place which allows you to land more hits against them without them running away!
