Guide
Sylveon is a great Attacker that can shred HP quickly, with this build you can make your Sylveon a monster.
Sylveon is pretty weak as an Eevee, both Swift and Babydoll Eyes are pretty weak moves so try to farm exp quickly until you’re level 4 so you can start to deal some heavy damage.
This build mainly revolves around boosting Sylveon’s Sp. Atk stat so try to score goals quick and early, you just have Focus Band to help with Sylveon’s bulk so be extremely careful when using this build! The best way to score some goals early is to just sneak in some goals as much as possible early on, if the opposing team is busy fighting Drednaw or Rotom or even just your own team then go score a goal or two to boost your Sp. Atk. While this build revolves around boosting your Sp. Atk a lot, you still need to make sure your team is safe before going to sneak a goal, if you think they need help then go there quickly! Sylveon’s Hyper Voice can shred through any Pokémon’s HP so you could give your team the upper hand if you don’t play too recklessly.
Other Possible Held Items:
Buddy Barrier: Buddy Barrier gives you a pretty decent amount of bulk after using your Unite Move which is great since it helps you heal without losing any HP! It also gives a shield to an ally with low HP which is good too.
Shell Bell: The heal from shell bell is pretty good, especially for an Attacker like Sylveon, the amount that Shell Bell heals you will also increase after using Calm Mind or getting Pixilate buffs which is good as well.
Energy Amplifier: After using it’s Unite Move, Sylveon heals by 50% of the damage it deals for a short time, not only does Energy Amplifier give a pretty good amount of extra damage but this also means that Sylveon heals slightly more too!
Other Possible Battle Items:
Eject Button: Eject Button is pretty straightforward as it just makes you teleport forward, this can be pretty good for a Pokémon like Sylveon.
Updates:
Swapped Buddy Barrier with Focus Band: While Buddy Barrier is great, Focus Band gives more survivability in all battles and doesn’t make you rely on your Unite Move for that extra bulk. Sylveon’s Unite Move also heals it by 50% of the damage it deals for a short time so Sylveon still gets a considerable amount of extra bulk after using it’s Unite Move.
Swapped Wise Glasses with Choice Specs: Wise Glasses does give a pretty good boost to its Sp. Atk but the extra damage from Choice Specs is just more useful. The extra damage Choice Specs deals also increases from the Sp. Atk buffs Sylveon gets from Pixilate and Calm Mind. Wise Glasses is still a good replacement for Sp. Atk Specs if you aren’t an aggressive scorer!
Swapped Eject Button with X Speed: Eject Button does teleport you a good distance forward but X Speed making you immune to speed debuffs makes it great for chasing down opponents.
