What I do is lvl up as quick as possible while navigating the jungle. Don't even bother sneaking a score until you at least have dream eater but preferably not until you have shadow ball. I'm a sneak so i usually hide in the grass near where Zapados appears and watch my map and wait for the opposing team to be seemingly distracted by either fighting teammates or scoring on our goal, that's when i go and score my points. And then I wait for the opposing team to head back, usually they with half hp or less and that's when I hit with dream eater then shadow ball. And head back to the jungle until I maxed on balls and have my unite move. I watch my map and ue my unite move to creep over to a score goal with minor action going on and score. Or when teammates are in trouble I use my unite move to creep over and put an opposing team member asleep. Another thing i do with my unite move is to quickly leave a fight when my hp is bought to hit zero but with this build and constant scoring, Gengar is sorta a tank.
The key is:
-Lvl up just lvl up in that jungle.
-Take advantage of tall grass and sneaking up to enemy score goals.
-always always always have an eye on that map when your just doing your own thing. Make sure you question where opposing teammates are if they aren't visible on the map. Don't be fooled be the fooler
