Guide
The main goal here is to play as defensive yet aggressive as possible. As Wigglytuff, you are both the unstoppable force and the immovable object, so you gotta play like it! The main strat here is to force openings for your offensive teammates and to keep enemy pressure and momentum at an all time low!
Sing works great as an enemy initiator, scares enemies and puts the pressure on in record time. While I used to run X-Speed, I swapped over to Potion to combat the frailer meta. Many tanks are falling off like Snorlax and Crustle, but Wigglytuff is TUFF enough to stick around Tip, I recommend you use Rollout in the event you're up against those with armor such as Greedent, Machamp, and Blissey.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Double Slap should NOT be used if the enemy team has a Wigglytuff of their own. Cute Charm cancels Double Slap, making it hard to get off even two slaps.
Works Well With
Probably the best partner for Wigglytuff, arguably. Ninetales has cc options to aid Wiggly’s cc options, aurora veil on wiggly is gross, and sleep and freeze together is downright satanic.
Greninja loves having a good Wigglytuff around to cover his six. Together, WigglyGren can be a devastating duo, perfect for duo-que!
Lucario and Wigglytuff are a toxic bottom-lane duo. Wigglytuff makes the setup process of a stacking Lucario's life significantly easier. Now in a nerfed Score Shield meta, crowd control is more needed for stacking now than ever.
