Mamoswine is rather weak in the early game, but it is a late game beast; once it evolves into Mamoswine, it begins to displace enemies all over the map, soaking up damage to enable any and all teammates. Weaken wild Pokemon for your lane partner early game, allowing them to gain the level advantage early in the game. Rotate to objectives, as Drednaw is key in evolving as a tank such as Mamoswine. Initiate fights when your team is ready, tanking all damage that comes your way.
Ice Shard - The optimal starting move, freezing wild Pokemon so your lane partner doesn't have to waste time chasing them down at the beginning of the game, putting you in a good position to take Corphish.
Icicle Crash - A huge AOE slow and freeze that buffs teammates; a great way to turn teamfights and prevent enemy players escaping your grasp. This combos really well with High Horsepower, as you can completely displace enemies, giving your team free picks and a player advantage.
High Horsepower - A dash of sorts that drags an opponent with you whilst stunning them at the end; High Horsepower is great for taking a player out of a teamfight so your team can finish them off. When combo'd with Icicle Crash, you can completely render an enemy useless, displacing, stunning and freezing them whilst your team melts them down.
Mammoth Mash - UNITE - An AOE stun and displacement, a great way to aid your team in teamfights such as Zapdos. It also allows you to get out of tricky situations as you move quickly, become unstoppable and can activate certain items.
ITEMS:
Weakness Policy - As a tank, your job is to soak up damage, so you may as well gain stat boosts whilst doing it. The more damage you take, the more your damage is increased. It also more HP and AD to your Mamoswine's stats.
Rocket Helmet - Deals passive damage as you take damage, which you should be as you are a tank.
Buddy Barrier - An overall great move, it increases your base HP by a large amount whilst applying a shield to yourself and a teammate when you use your Unite Move; a great way to support and enable your team.
Eject Button - A quick teleport that allows you to get out of tough situations.
