Guide
After the recent Decidueye buff, Decidueye might be the BEST jungle in the game. And I’m not talking about using the Hypercarry build, aka Razor Leaf. I’m talking about Spirit Shackle, the sniper build. It does so much damage and the range is actually insane. And the fact you can charge up to 3 charges? Even if you miss you still have 2 charges and you don’t need to wait for cooldowns. Because Duraludon is really overpowered with Dragon Pulse right now, Decidueye is a PERFECT counter to it. Spirit Shackle has longer range than where Dragon Pulse can hit you, and 2 Spirit Shackles can already kill any squishy characters, including Duraludon. If you’re going laning with Decidueye, just don’t use him. You’re gonna get bullied early BAD unless your enemies suck or both teams are playing REALLY safe (which is most likely not going to happen).
Select Leafage first because it is much better getting buffs than Astonish. After you reach Level 5, head to either lane and secure bees. Don’t return to base to farm your jungle until you’re Level 6 to secure your Level 7. Use Leafage to secure the bees, it might be hard but you might as well try.
Level 7 is your insane powerspike. You get Spirit Shackle which is an insane, long range, high damage move. It also hits multiple targets and is an insanely good securing/stealing move. When you’re at the Drednaw fight, it’s better if you play it safe. If Drednaw is losing at least 10% HP every second, charge your Shackle at when Drednaw is at 40% HP. You can secure it easily, if it is losing HP slow, then charge it at 20/30% HP.
I know a lot of people like Leaf Storm because it shoves and gives you time to attack, but that only pairs well with Razor Leaf and Shadow Sneak is better than Leaf Storm originally anyways. Shadow Sneak lowers defense which basically makes your Shackle deals EVEN MORE damage.
If you didn’t know, Decidueye’s Unite Move damage also got buffed (the last hit did not get buffed). It now does insane damage and is a great teamfight starter. Just make sure you’re using it faraway. And remember to cancel the Unite Move if you’re in a dangerous situation.
X Speed is probably the best battle item for Decidueye. Eject Button was becoming off meta since the buff of Slow Smoke, and Eject Button is a short ranged dash which has a very long cooldown. X Speed has a much shorter cooldown and gives mobility (at least gives movement speed which helps.) Decidueye has to be used from faraway, or else you’re gonna die easily. So you can use X Speed to either escape, or gain distance if you’re in a sticky situation (e.g. There are two people rushing at you.)
The build is Buddy Barrier, Muscle Band, Focus Band or replace Muscle Band and Focus Band with Attack Weight or Score Shield (I don’t really recommend Score Shield, Weakness Policy MIGHT be a choice, but still, not recommended). Focus Band might not seem helpful but it is. Decidueye already does insane damage so you don’t need any more damage items.
At Level 11, you get Spirit Shackle+ which is an insane upgrade. It now does more damage to opponents with half or lower HP, which is insane for securing/sniping enemies.
I hope you like this build! If you do, please give it an upvote! :)
