Basic attacks do more damage the more HP the opponent has.

Temporarily increases your Attack, Sp. Attack, and Basic Attack Speed.

Hello there! Today I will show You my favourite build for one of the most interesting Pokemon currently in Unite! Here are some tips how to play it well:
1. Always go with someone who can deal damage. You will support him from start with your Astonish and Trick, Astonish is also great for stealing wild Pokemon, and Trick allows to deal solid damage on start.
2. Keep up with someone, and help him in every fight. Trick is most important here, beacuse it gives You and your teammate shield, extra damage and (after reaching 13 lvl) some healing. And remember, if you use Shadow Ball after giving someone buff from Trick, you will be able to shoot two Shadow Balls in the same time, wich deals a lot of damage.
3. Be aware of so stronk Pokemon, (mainly Speedsters like Absol, Talonflame and Gengar, and everything that deals damage with Basic Attacks). Hoopa can do literally nothing against them without help. Yeah, sure, it can deal some damage... but most of the time it gets one-shooted.
4. Use Rings Unbound (Hoopa's Unite Move) only on group of enemies (minimum 2-3). It's one of the strongest Unite Moves in the game at the time of making this guide, definitly worth using it. But be aware: this build is focused on Trick + Shadow Ball combination! Hoopa-Unbound can tank lot of damage, but can also get killed quickly. Remember, THIS BUILD ISN'T MADE FOR HOOPA'S UNITE MOVE
Tips for the items:
- You can use something else than Muscule Band: Energy Amplifier, Buddy Barrier, Score Shield or Sp. Atk Specs works well too.
- X-Attack can be replaced with X-Speed, Eject Button, Slow Smoke or Goal Getter (last option works best with Sp. Atk Specs + Score Shield)
Works Well With
Alolan Ninetales can freeze opponents, works well in early-game with Hoopa's Astonish. Also deal pretty solid damage, makes great duo with Hoopa.
Machamp is in my opinion best partner for Hoopa, Trick works on him so well, also he deals a lot of damage.
Can heal itself, so can stand in fight a little bit longer than Ninetales or Machamp. Works well with Hoopa for the same reason as other two Pokemon above.
This build was created in the game version of 1.4.1.4. It may contain inaccuracies in the data that is used compared to the current version of 1.12.1.5.
