Guide
Muscle Band for faster-attacking speed with the boosted attack from Flail. Focus Band for surviving longer, also giving you an ability to engage further. Weakness Policy is the special item for this build, It's for further increasing Snorlax's boosted attack after using Flail, the guide of using it will be explained later in this guide. Weakness Policy could be switched out for Scope Lens, if do so, Yawn is a better move with Flail than Block.
There are a few battle items suggested:
Potion: For camping goal zone, constantly healing, more on the defensive side.
X Attack: Also for camping goal zone, boosting attack further, more on the offensive side.
X Speed: Chase down the opponent with extra speed, more on the offensive side.
Slow Smoke: Preventing opponent from leaving the battle, more on the offensive side, it can also be used for slowing down opponents when you escape, more on the defensive side.
Obviously always starts with Tackle and not Rest, reminder: After using tackle, your next attack will be a boost attack, so use that to your advantage.
It is very easy to clear out wild Aipoms with Snorlax, if it all goes well, you should be able to get in position before the middle Corphish spawns on the top path.
Analyze the situation, if your opponents on the top path are glass cannon (Example: All shooters, All speedster, Pikachu, Cramorant, Alolan Ninetales, and more), don't hesitate to engage in fighting, if your opponents on the top path are more on the bulky side (Example: All defender, Wigglytuff, Lucario, and more), set your goal as stealing their wild Pokemons.
For Snorlax's teammate, I believe Pokemon that are strong early game would be perfect for Snorlax, it will make Snorlax easier to engage the early game.
During Drednaw fight, Snorlax has the ability to solo top path, getting Rotom while your teammates get Drednaw. Snorlax works more like an all-rounder role with this set.
Now, upon reaching Level 7, You get to upgrade your move from either Block or Yawn. I believe Block works perfectly with Weakness Policy. Block grants Snorlax a shield, the shield is used for stacking up your Weakness Policy, your can stack Weakness Policy damage 4 times at the same time.
So the strategy here, use Block to get yourself a shield, also adjust the opponent's position, stack up your Weakness Policy, use Flail, and smack your opponents with huge damage boosted attacks.
