Guide
This build takes a (currently) weak Mon' and just plays to his strengths. Trevenant's healing and base defense/health makes him a nightmare to kill, so this build just turns that up to 11.
In the early game, you want to score as many small goals as possible, until you have scored 6 and maxed out your Aeos Cookie, netting you a total of 1440 extra health, solely from the Cookie. Add on the extra 1050 you get from max grade Score Shield and Buddy Barrier and you get a grand total of 2490 extra health, on top of Trevenant's (at 15) health of 9900+. Due to how Score Shield and Buddy Barrier work, this massive slab of HP translates into a nigh unbreakable shield when using your Ultimate or scoring points. We run Curse and Pain Split because they can remain active while you are scoring on someone's face, AND they couple extremely well with Slow Smoke. Every single time Slow Smoke is ready to use, you become a massive threat, capable of completely removing at least 1 target from a team fight, potentially multiple. Trevenant's worst match-ups are probably Pikachu and Gardevoir, due to their innate ability to murder anything from a half mile away, but if you can get onto them, they also turn to dust. Your Ultimate should be used almost exclusively for Team Fights, to make the most of the shield it AND Buddy Barrier provide. Lack of Horn Leech on this build does greatly reduce your ability to solo engage multiple targets, so be very aware of your position and your teammates. This build combos extremely well with any supporter who can offer heals/more CC, as well as any high damage output character (ranged or melee) to capitalize on the Slow Smoke.
