Guide
snow warning - always keep in mind when your next empowered auto is and try to have one on standby if possible(just auto into the air twice). do this when chasing low hp opponents too, as the longer range can kill them out of your typical auto range if you basic attack in front of yourself while running at them.
icy wind - does more damage than powder snow. aim it between the second and third aipoms to hit them at the same time before they start moving (or after- if your lane partner hits before you run alongside the inner aipom and hit them both vertically) and get to corpish as quick as possible.
take corpish, and take their aipom too. take everything you can. you're an early game bully and the more exp you can deny the enemy lane the better off you are for dred. hit lvl 4 asap and bully some more.
early game menaces to worry abt:
pikachu - if u get caught by electroweb 2+ times ur dead
cramorant - can easily burst u dead
wigglytuff - killable but your lane partner needs to help with the damage output, he's your archnemisis (highest spdef in the game)
absol - don't push lane early if an absol exists
crustle - a pain in the back really, get his lane partner before him but don't underestimate his damage or cc
early game peasants to feast on:
snorlax - kite him, dodge his heavy slam, steal or make him eat all his berries so he has to regen in your face, focus him and boom. ez.
ralts - free food, don't take damage from this fool that's just embarrassing
blissey - easy to kite, her heal isn't too strong early so bait it out of her then focus her lane partner or even her if your lane partner does good damage
**DO NOT TAKE AVALANCHE**
i am literally begging you not to take avalanche if you want to win a match in this meta. as someone once told me, dazzling gleam kills your opponents, avalanche kills your teammates. i can confidently say i've never lost a match against a ninetales running avalanche + blizzard. i'm not gona elaborate on why cuz that's another paragraph.
dazzling gleam - it take a hot millisecond to actually get the move out so make sure you have enough frames to actually get it out if you're running from enemies and want to gleam them while running away. it most often results in them getting a move and basic attack off on you during the windup. otherwise, chain it with your snow warning freeze for extra stun time on the enemy.
snow globe - best used to execute enemies imo. get your opponents all fairly low, ensure they're all in your range (or get ready to eject button into range) then pop your unite. use attack speed boost and aurora veil to machine-gun them all dead with buddy barrier keeping you alive (keep dodging as much as you can tho don't forget you're squishy). otherwise very handy at stealing objectives so charge it up whenever you have the opportunity. oh, and you have a few frames of involunerability once you hit those frames where a9 is high in the air, so get familiar with the timing to dodge the opponent's unite moves.
items:
muscle band - must take. it empowers your basic attacks so much and as a kiter this is extremely helpful at early game kills and poking.
focus band - shell bell is also a viable option here. though little, i appreciate the cooldown reduction and the healing. focus band i'd say helps you live through exchanges better, especially boosting your strong early game.
buddy barrier - yeah that shield is gona be your best friend
eject button - you don't have a dash never leave home without it, remember you can eject through certain areas of the map to gain more distance between you and the opponent chasing you.
buffoons you cannot 1v1:
charizard, lucario, BLASTOISE (dont do it girl), snorlax, wigglytuff, gardevoir, mr. mime, blissey (she won't die), eldgeoss (she's too fast), talonflame
clowns you can 1v1 if you're smart abt it:
gengar, zeraora (fr i am not afraid of this cat) absol (late game), garchomp (kite him at your own risk tbh), slowbro
but keep in mind if any opponent's hp is fairly depleted, like 70% or lower, and yours isn't, you have good kill potential with your full combo burst + some autos + dodging.
b&b combo:
empowered auto - snow warning stun proc - aurora veil - dazzling gleam - empowered autos (aurora veil)
