Crustle is probably one of the most confusing 'mons in the game. This build is centralised around Crustle's good traits (ability to grab goals, steal objectives, the Unite cheese). You always take Fury Cutter first because it helps you take minions from the enemy. Shell Smash is essential to the build, so take it ASAP. Stealth Rock will help you in stealing objectives, whether it be Drednaw, Zapdos or the enemy jungle.
Scope Lens is probably the best offensive item for Crustle, as every single one of your attacks can crit (except Shell Smash, for obvious reasons). Score Shield is obligatory on many defensive 'mons, and Crustle is no different. Buddy Barrier is an all-round amazing item, however Crustle is one of the best utilisers of it, since you can click Rubble Rouser, and still score with 3+ 'mons attacking you thanks to your Score Shield.
I recommend going top 9/10 times as it helps you get to your coveted level 6 sooner, however bottom is not a bad choice. If the option is available, I would recommend counter-jungling, as Stealth Rock is great at chunking the buff 'mons, and if the jungler shows up, you can fight (if you have the level advantage) or run if you need to.
Other good items include Aeos Cookie instead of Scope Lens (if you want to focus more on taking goals than objectives) or Energy Amplifier instead of Buddy Barrier (I know this is a weird choice, but you can get some colossal damage off).

Particularly great at zoning, lets you get off some more clutch scores.
