This character is a menace at pretty much all points in the game.
With the nerfs to whirlpool your early clear isn't quite as strong and neither is your trading but you're still a character to feared.
When you unlock air slash try to bait the enemies in, so you can land all 4 slashes. With shell bell this will be a large chunk of damage and healing for you.
Make sure you rotate from top to drednaw around 15-20 seconds before it spawns so you can get a good fight and then secure drednaw as it's more important than rotom!
Finally when you unlock your unite move don't be afraid to go for 1v2 plays as long as they aren't 2 assassins. With Buddy Barrier and Energy Amplifier you should be ulting frequently and be able to kill off cooldown.

Keeps the enemy assassin's off of you.
