Guide
Purpose of this build:
(Only used in standard so far, ranked is too unforgiving if solo queuing this build)
Your end game and purpose of this build is to be able to steal zapdos solo with proper timing and good aim and/or execute a team wipe as well. By baiting the other team into going for zapdos (I have achieved both a couple of times, very satisfying.
Item Choices: Shell Bell/ Energy Amplifier/ Wise Glasses.
Amp gives CDR, Unite Recharge speed, and my favorite, 21% damage increase after using Unite move. making MoonShock lethal if aimed well
This build may look super niche at a glance, but with some extensive practice i’ve been able to keep a steady (sometimes ahead) pace in the match by learning to kite and predict with pokes and force enemy laner cdr. You sacrifice (slightly) faster early clear for cdr and and faster unite move charge, (the cdr lets you spam a bit with MoonShock combos and keep good pressure after level 8. A good Snorlax, or Ninetails (yes) with you in bottom lane has proven very efficient because you’re closer to dreadnaw and can help secure/ protect with Shock. Kiting is the technique here, and while Future Sight is great damage wise and at + can be a team melter, lacks the mobility Shock provides while casting. A good combo to secure all 3 ticks is to fire Shock and then Moonblast after first psyshock tick, ensuring you land all 3. CDR surprisingly is noticeable here, Shock already reducing its own cd with successful ticks, sees good benefit from the CDR this build gives. Faster Unite Charge is good and you could be able to comfortably get off two a match with the way you can ramp up damage with the MoonShock spam.
Kiting well and having safe predicts in lane can help ensure you stay alive long and often to pump out damage with this build.
You are extremely squish, and must be aware to avoid/escape ganks and rush downs.
As far as lane choice i picked bottom with Snorlax, the higher exp yield clears the road to level 7 by 7 minutes easier to manage. All lanes work for her, with jungling being the superior choice for obvious reasons. kite and sniping works best with Aim Assist turned OFF to ensure your land your moves how you want.
After first tick of Shock, you are able to execute other actions (normal attack, Moonblast, Eject Button*) during the remaining ticks. you have options, utilizing them can be crucial to surviving during the match.
Works Well With
Ninetails can do the very same trick with her unite move and aurora veil/ dazzling gleam. She has to be closer for hers to work though. Gardevoir and Ninetales working in tandem would ensure the mission is accomplished between the two of them and their combos.
This stemmed from a joke with a friend but with great coordination, Protect Lax in bottom lane with Gardevoir lead to excellent synergy and allowed for safe ganking opportunities and objective secure/guarding. Snorlax acts as a third insurance policy blocking in surviving enemies after Singularity is deployed.
