Guide
FIRST PICK
Will-O Wisp is better for good damage when cleaning the Jungle, since you get Lick AFTER cleaning the Jungle, it's not a big problem to take Will-O-Wisp first.
FIRST UPGRADE
Sludge Bomb is the strongest move of Gengar, the Poison of it is very strong aigainst Tanks or Speedster, it also have a good AOE.
SECOND UPGRADE
Dream Eater is going to help you when your ganking a lane, when an ennemy is too far from their goal, then you just gotta go get them and put one asleep, once it's done, you can Sludge Bomb, and then you can use it a second time to heal you, it's the optimal combo with that move.
UNITE MOVE
Phantom Ambush is the best thing to begin a gank and win the gank because of that move, your also unlockable and untouchable so ennemies aren't annoying you with any spells, and you have a speed boost when the UNITE move is finished.
ITEMS
The Shell Bell is healing a lot from Sludge Bomb and pairs well with Dream Eater that also heals you, all of that heal makes you unstoppable when ganking at level 7 or just 5 if you determined.
The Sp. Atk. Specs is scaling the poison damage of Sludge Bomb, and also every other spells of Gengar.
The Float Stone is helping you cleaning the Jungle and give you additional move speed out of a battle, it also gives additional attack speed but in a lesser extent.
Eject Button is always good for escaping or chasing opponents, and gives you a ton of mobility, so it's easier to roll on a game :)
Works Well With
Slowbro pairs well with Gengar, with a good CC rotation with him and a lot of HP to cover the gaps of Gengar
