Most of the time your gonna want to use thunder for damaging the opposing pokemon. If the pokemon your fighting is at low hp, Use volt tackle for a quick kill or thunder if they are trying to run away. Volt tackle is also good for using after thunder for some extra damage. (You can also swap potion for full heal if you have it)
Works Well With
A combination with Slowbro's telekinesis and Pikachu's thunder and volt tackle combo its basically ggs for the enemy pokemon.
If Pikachu somehow dies (RIP :/), Absol can get the kill that Pikachu couldn't get.
If your Charizard has flamethrower in their kit, the burn will help Pikachu with deal more damage.
