I'm not the best at really explaining, but I'll try my best:
Essentially the build focuses on a kiting/hit and run playstyle that can shift into an all in style
Shell bell let's Greninja's abilities heal and heal more once you get surf
Floatstone is an amazing item on Greninja since the speed can be the difference between catching your target or getting out of a sticky situation, the damage is nice too
Muscle Band is extremely good on Greninja imo, it makes the autos faster and do more, which is extremely good on Greninja because of its max hp damage
Eject Button is great because free mobility is always good
Bubble first because the damage is nutty, you can win just about any trade with anything that isn't a tank
Smokescreen is the better option imo because of the invisibility, why distract aggro when you can avoid it altogether? Plus the upgraded version is really nice
Surf is better overall to me, because with shuriken you have better dps, but that's if you hit them all, surf gets increased healing + with shell bell is bonkers, and 3 dashes is really good imo, and getting off the resets can easily net you a multiple kills in quick succession, and can lead to multiple outplays
Works Well With
Mr. Mime's speed boost with guard swap is amazing and the stun with psychic is also really good, and if he swaps with enemy you can go for an easy assassination
With 2 long stuns and mini knockups, Slowbro is the best lockdown tank by far, it also does a surprising amount of damage
A really great lockdown Mon as well, excellent for peeling as well
