Guide
So, much like most of my builds, at least one of the held items is interchangeable based on your preference. In this case, it is Focus Band. Focus Band in this build can be swapped out for Shell Bell or Assault Vest, even Aeos cookie if you are so inclined.
Your role as going Slowbro support is to disengage any engaging opponents. Slowbro support is a great counter to the Gengar meta because of Telekinesis and Slowbeam lockdown. Being able to lock down the strongest speedster in the game is massive.
If you are going to play Slowbro, you are always wanting to go Surf and Telekinesis. There is no pairing more optimal than the pairing of Surf and Telekinesis. You provide so much CC (Crowd Control) between those two moves. Telekinesis locks an opponent in place and surf can be used to either knock someone towards or away from your team. Slowbeam is used as a last resort in a fight to stop someone from jumping on your carry. Use it wisely, but use it early enough that they are not able to do damage to your carry.
Works Well With
Surf and Telekinesis work as a great disengage to help with Gibble evolve, and great engage when you have a Garchomp.
