You must play really safe on early game, as Gastly, you won´t have a lot of ways to kill people. Make hits and go back all time, but dont die.
When you have Sludge Bomb and Hex, you MUST use first Sludge Bomb and then Hex to reset all time the CD of Hex, and spam it. Dont forget about your X Attack item, and use it before the burst.
