Guide
EDIT: This primer is from my early days of Unite, when I was Beginner-Expert Class, and shouldn't be taken too seriously. I'll make an updated build later. For now, we simply replaced Energy Amplifier with Razor Claw~
You need to get to Lv6 ASAP.
In Standard Matches, eat the Jungle if it's open to you, otherwise take the lane least traveled. You'll want to land the final blow on the wild Pokemon, so it's best to just stay away from your allies early game to avoid kill stealing.
In Quick Matches, just go where your allies aren't, to maximize your gains.
After, you get to level 6, you want to target the weakest lane, first (Stay away from Snorlax and Slowbro), cause you want to melt the lane to ensure maximum scoring. Dragon Rush is good for pushing foes off their goal to reduce health regen and shields. Once you break the first goal, it's good to press the advantage, to keep your opponents underfed and underleveled. Once you reach level 10, your damage output goes up dramatically, so make sure you eat as much as possible on your way. Spawn camp if you can, but help your teammates wherever they may be in need. Gojira Garchomp can swing team fights with its well rounded stats and potent Ult. Also, always remember to eat your Electreats. Gojira Garchomp is really good at eating Zapdos and Rotom. :3
We use Dragon Claw because we want to focus in on the weakest link and get a nice speed boost to our basic attack.
Muscle Band is great for any Punchy build, and the only item I recommend you not replace.
Focus Band increases our tankiness and Energy Amplifier increases our late game DPS, but they could easily be replaced with some combination of Leftovers, Assault Vest, Rocky Helmet, and Float Stone.
Leftovers functions similarly to the Focus Band by keeping us alive. Rocky Helmet increases the effects of our Rough Skin and also makes us Bulkier. Assault Vest gives us a solid defensive boost. Finally, Float Stone makes moving across the map and ganking (sneak attacks) easier.
X attack helps melt your squishier opponents and Zapdos, which can reduce the damage received and swing games massively in your favor.
