Guide
Summary:
The build is straight forward: Glass cannon nuker who excels at a hit and run playstyle. Low success rate in lane, pretty much have to be in jungle. You have the most access to bigger creeps for faster levels and the most gank opportunity. Level up in the darkness and gank unsuspecting enemies, coordinated with allies.
*Note on updated Held items/Battle item:
Overall I believe this is the absolute best build. Full Heal might be better that Eject button, especially in big team fights, but I find Eject button is more useful in more scenarios. As far as Held items go, you can also find success with subbing a Shell Bell or Special Atk Specs, but after testing, I found them not to be worth. Flat stats in this game are BAD! You want % based items, values are high in this game. At least lvl 20 Buddy Barrier gives you 40% hp when you Unite move as well as a low HP teammate nearby. 80% total team HP in a big team fight, Insanely good. On literally anyone. Wise Glasses, pretty obvious, % based special attack. Call 'em Gengar glasses. Energy Amp is a sleeper godly item. Consider this. Games often come down to big end game clashes. Unit moves win these clashes. Energy Amp is 21% increased dmg after Unite move, this synergized with 40% extra HP from Buddy Barrier is a serious force to be messed with. Just try it, no thanks required.
Details:
Sledge Bomb/Hex all day. The raw speed, but also being able to teleport through walls, too good to pick anything else. Sludge Bomb obviously synergizes with Hex giving CD reduction. One goal in mind: Kill the enemy carry as fast as possible.
*Always initiate from a flank or behind. You should not be standing next to your teammates to get cleaved down or AOE CC'd*
- Try to get a Sludge Bomb/Hex combo onto a squishy out of position for an easy pick. Careful, don't get stunned out of position yourself. One good stun on a Gengar from a team that has a clue, and you'll be waiting for respawn.
- DO NOT be afraid to Unit move! MAKE SURE Unite move is up for Dreadnaw and Zapdos clashes.
- AOE poison the kill target with Sludge Bomb
- Hex on top of the poisoned kill target, late game in beta I was hitting around 2k non-crit
-At this point you will have Hex back up in 1-2 seconds because of the CD reduction from hitting a poisoned target.
- If you can, finish the target with multiple Hex's and continue to clean up the fight, or hopefully secure the kill and disengage with hex if needed.

For Everyone Who Has Wanted To Yell This In Game:
If your team is clearly winning....
DO NOT TRY TO KILL ZAPDOS!
Zapdos is a comeback mechanic...for when you are losing and need to come back.
If your team is winning, just make sure the enemy team doesn't Zapdos
