This is starting to get annoying. Unite.gg, please add Charm and Guard. We need access to these items.
Before you enter the game, on the loading screen, study the opposing team. If their team is more squishy and can easily get trapped by Rock Tomb, Stealth Rock would be better for higher damage. If their team is more bulky and stun-heavy, X-Scizzor is the better play to try and match them. Either way, Rock Tomb is most likely the way to go.
Start with Fury Cutter, as the damage is slightly higher than Rock Slide. Be sure to stack as quickly as possible, as this will be vital later in the game. This will greatly increase your bulk and damage, and will increase the effectiveness of your Resonant Guard.
Alternatively, you can swap out Attack Weight for Buddy Barrier, especially if you're prioritizing X-Scissor, although Cookie should usually be kept.
Once reaching level 6, be sure to select the move you had chosen prior to the match.
This is the build I've been using the most recently, and I just made it to ultra again mostly using it.
This build works best with white and brown boost emblems.
Try not to lower HP, Def, or SpDef. Attack is also sort of important.
