Guide
very strong machamp build
my second main
boost emblem
6 brown
4 white
defenses (depends on what u have)
preferrably +10 attack or more
details:
move:
karate chop first becuase damage
d-punch is speed boost + stun + buff, very good initiator
cross chop is a dash move, you dont really use for damage.
cross chop has a cool upgrade at lvl 13: every basic attack u do +2 attack stat (max. 40 stack, =80 whole attack buff if maximixed :suprised: :flushed:)
alternatives:
submission (not recommended but viable)
item:
held:
razor claw is a good damage boost since there are moves (lvl 3 bulk up & lvl 5 dynamic punch) that immediatly give u boosted attack after use
attack weight is good because on it's own machamp doesnt do much damage. the attack boost is appreciated but it's not mandatory to win
energy amplifier is almost perfect on this mon
cd is up on normal move and ult
the buff after ult is massive. to put it into perspective it's a mix of coca-cola (winkwink) and adrenaline so the extra damage will help a lot
x speed for extra boost (chasing down, running away, stacking)
alternatives:
weakness policy
muscle band/rapid-fire scarf (meh)
focus band (if skill issue)
strategy:
stack.
bulk up and x speed guarantee escape/entry
karate chop to execute (big damage move no cap)
after that be big menace
steal farm with speed
steal objective with speed
steal life with speed
if gonna die just run
if have ulti just kill (if 2 or above enemy only. dont do if under 3:30 so to have ult during ray/zap)
if that doesnt work (no stack or massively behind)
start farming ur own side
get buff
do backcaps (if not 6 attack weight stacks yet)
ray/zap strat: target squishy, ult massive squad
combo:
d-punch -> boosted attack -> cross chop -> spam attack
ult boost -> d-punch -> boosted attack -> cross chop -> ult barrage
matchups:
positive: anything squishy (you can comfortably slow and one shot, dont take the fight if they can dodge), tanks with no damage.
negative: anything with rapid dashes / stun immunity, mewtwo x
general tips:
dont take fights if ur low (unless ur significantly higher lvl and u KNOW you can oneshot with ur combo)
a lone wolf playstyle is ok but it's preferrable to have a teammate to back you up.
don't overextend without the tools to run
conclusion:
this build has won me most of my ranked games
the ult is super strong it's ridiculous.
this is what im comfortable with,
but dont be afraid to customize and test
thanks for reading lmfao
