The aim of this Slowbro build is to do guerilla style assists. With Slowbros passive and Amnesia he can stay in combat a long time soaking a lot of damage. While Slowbro doesn't do immense damage himself, with Surf and Slowbeam he can set up and control a fight very well for his allies to do damage.
The downside here is that Slowbro is going to be in the middle of a lot of damage, hence Rocky Helmet. To make these fights safer for Slowbro we will use Focus Band and Assault Vest, these allow Slowbro to get healthy again after after leaving a fight so he can re-enter them quickly ensuring he is never too long out of action and assisting his team.
Slowbro will gradually attain a lot of score and but unless you have an ally help you in a teamfight, he will struggle to score. If you do find yourself with full score and can't score it top lane, roam, bot for a big push with greater numbers and score there. You never want to just be sitting top with full points waiting for a chance to score.
Works Well With
Gengar is a little squishy so he can be hesitant to start fights sometimes. What a Gengar player really wants to see is the enemy all grouped up allowing him to flank and attack.
Talonflame will adopt a similar in and out of combat style as Slowbro, so when paired together they will adopt a similar rhythm to the laning phase.
Venusaur can do a lot of good AOE damage while the enemy team is surrounding Slowbro.
This build was created in the game version of 1.1.1.2. It may contain inaccuracies in the data that is used compared to the current version of 1.12.1.5.
