Guide
This is Gengar
He was notorious for Hex spamming near release,
but now he has a shotgun.
Will O Wisp is an objectively better first move as it burns with chip to help clear Xatu faster.
You want to get level 5 and 7 asap.
Dream eater + Shadow ball is a deadly combo.
Hypnosis (first part of dream eater) > Shadow Ball > Dream Eater > Boosted > second part of ult (if activated before combo)
Choice Specs, Wise Glasses and Slick Spoon are all just for Gengar's damage.
You can replace Wise Glasses for Focus Band if you want survivability.
Full Heal because of the ammount of stun in this game is crazy.
You have to time it because if you use it wrong then the punishment is a death sentence.
Alternatives are Potion and Eject Button.
Don't play like you are with your team.
In SoloQ, its every man for themselves.
Atleast get level 13.
Target the ones with the damage first.
Gengar is not what you would call bulky.
The strategy is to use its ult to get into the backline.
While diving it does give away that you are in the vicinity but they still don't know exactly where you are.
Hit the one most likely to stun lock you.
If you mess up the combo, spam everything and run.
Aiming is neccesary.
Some enemies you do not want to mess with (in some situations) are Zacian, Slowbro, Snorlax, and Wigglytuff.
Zacian and Lax can damage you hard with some bulk.
Slowbro and Lax (yeah he can do both) can simply live the combo and ult you in the 2 minute fight.
Wiggly is just an @$$hole.
Some nice things I did with this build:
20 kills almost every winning game,
average 6 kills atleast
22 kills -but still lost- (yay! solo queue!)
100k damage average
Tl;dr: get lvl 5 and 7, use ult to dive back line, dodge stuns, kill attackers, do big damage.
